After a long Christmas break the boys on the U9 River Kings team were ready to start the new year off with a bang. The Boys look ready for this game from the get-go. From the drop of the puck to the end buzzer they dominated this game.
Luca Ellis was a brick wall in net making save after save. His quick foot work and fast hands made it almost impossible for Welland to score. This earned him King of the game.
Cash Tikanen was awarded the hardhat as the hardest working player of the game. Cash had a don't quite attitude all game giving the Tigers no room to skate with the puck. Cash not only added to the offence but also made great defensive plays to help the Kings dominate the play. Congratulations to both boys.
