River Kings will be holding spring Evaluations/ Tryouts for 2026-2027 for U8MD, U9MD, U10A, U11A, U11B, U12A, U13A, U13B, U14A, U15A, U15B, U16A, U18A & U18B.
U21A Tryouts will be in the Fall
PREPARATION/DEVELOPMENT
Online registration for Pre skates is OPEN. Space is limited. Must pre-register online (no walk-ups).

Prep skates are NOT Tryouts. You must register separately for Tryouts.
Prep skates are for any players rostered in centres within Haldimand Minor Hockey 2025-2026, or players who were registered with a centre not offering Prep skates (per OHF rules).
4 Prep ice times with professional instructors from Innovate Hockey Development per Division, prior to Tryouts.
4 additional Checking Clinics with professional instructors for U14 and above is included. If interested in this, you must pre-register separately (in addition to registering for the Prep skates). SOLD OUT
Checking clinic/training is required before trying out for U14 and above.
Prep skates for U8MD & U9MD will start March 28th.
Prep skates for U10 & above will start the 2nd week of April.
All prep ice times are now posted.

Registration is set to open Wednesday April 1st, 2026 @ 6am and close Thursday April 9th, 2026 @10pm.
