River Kings will be holding spring Evaluations/ Tryouts for 2026-2027 U8MD, U9MD, U10A, U11A, U11B, U12A, U13A, U13B, U14A, U15A, U15B, U16A, U18A & U18B.
U21A Tryouts will be in the Fall
TRYOUTS
Online Evaluation/Tryout Registration can open April 1st.
Registration information, ice times and locations will be posted closer to the dates.
U8MD & U9MD Player Evaluations: April 11th -24th
U10A, U11A, U12A, & U13A Player Evaluations/Tryouts: May 2nd-8th.
U11B & U13B team Tryouts (for those who are released from “A”) will follow.
U14A, U15A, U16A, U18A Player Evaluations/Tryouts: May 4th-10th.
U15B & U18B team Tryouts (for those who are released from “A”) will follow.
PREP
Online registration for Preparation (Prep) skates, for players rostered in centres within Haldimand Minor Hockey 2025-2026, will open soon. Space is limited.
4 Prep ice times with professional instructors will be offered per Division, prior to Tryouts.
4 additional Checking Clinics with professional instructors for U14 and above will be included during the Prep window. If interested in this, you must pre-register separately (in addition to registering for the Prep skates). A link will be provided once registration is open.
Checking clinic/training is required before trying out for U14 and above.
Prep skates for U8MD & U9MD will start late March. Prep skates for U10 & above will start the 2nd week of April.
All prep ice times are now posted.
