Police Checks (Haldimand Minor Hockey)

PrintPolice Checks
New for the 2024-2025 season

Going forward all Team officials will now have to upload their own Police Checks (Vulnerable Sector  Check – VSC) into the centralized Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) system.

This process reduces the number of screening submissions for individuals who change Associations or are participating in multiple Associations.

Click HERE to access the OHF’s VSC website for more information, how-to steps and videos.

Once on the OHF website, under the OHF VSC Checks Process tab, see Item #1 if you do not have a current VSC. Open the “OHF Letter Requesting Vulnerable Sector Check” form, fill it out, download it, and submit the request to your local police service – the police service where you reside. For areas covered by OPP, their process is now online. Click HERE for more information on OPP process.

Each police service will be different as to how long it will take. Please complete the process as early as possible in case there is a backlog.

Once you have received your approved VSC, make a PDF of it and then you have to upload it to the OHF system.

Just follow the steps as outlined on the OHF website.
