I just want to recap the season so far. In 2023 this team has had
its share of fun.
Team building right from the start of the year has brought this
group very close to say the least. We have had team breakfasts, pizza
parties, an outdoor hockey event with a nice team BBQ. Our kids got to
meet the Dunnville JR Mudcats and participate in the pre game activities,
a few development sessions, and just before the year end they will practice
with some of the Caledonia Corvair Players. The team raised 287 pounds of
food and donated it to a local food bank. As well as our Christmas party
was held at the Dunnville bowling alley. We had a great celebration with
approximately 70 teammates and family members.
The players practice hard every time out and it’s paying
off on game day. Everyone on this team has noticeably gotten better at
hockey in a very short time. We reward them with a hard hat for “hard
worker” and a wwe belt for “play maker”. MD is equal ice and opportunity,
and everyone has got one or the other up to this point and will continue to
circulate through out the season. We have strong practice plans,
consistent coaching while developing skills both individually and as a team. This has proven to be the recipe for
success. Our Team is undefeated to this point and we’re
all looking for continued success and fun moving into 2024!!On behalf
of the staff and parents we are very proud of these kids.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Coach Paul
